What is Music Therapy?
DAvid belshe Music Therapy GranT
Fort Worth Music Therapy Fund provides Music Therapy Grants to individuals and facilities seeking music therapy services.
Each David Belshe Music Therapy Grant:
- is $2,500 (approx. 6 months of music therapy)
- Is paid directly to the board-certified music therapist providing treatment

Connect
To apply for a Music Therapy Grant, begin by connecting with a board-certified music therapist in your area. Music therapists must be CBMT credentialed. For more information, click here.
Complete
Complete a grant application found here. Applications are accepted year-round. Music Therapy Grants are awarded twice per year, typically in January and July.
Confirm
If awarded a Music Therapy Grant, Fort Worth Music Therapy Fund will confirm that you and your board-certified music therapist are ready to begin treatment!. Congratulations!
David Belshe Music Therapy Grant applications open year round
Music Therapy Intern Scholarships
Fort Worth Music Therapy Fund also provides Music Therapy Intern Scholarships to music therapy students completing an internship as part of their course requirements for an accredited music therapy program.
Each Internship Scholarship:
- is $2,500
- is paid directly to the music therapy intern

Musical Instrument Donations
Starting in 2021, MT-BCs and Music Therapy Interns will be able to “shop” our inventory of donated musical instruments – for FREE! Stay tuned for more details.
